My vegetables have garlic breath

A few days ago I made an organic garden spray with large amounts of garlic and hot peppers, plus vegetable oil, detergent and water. You blend it all up in the blender, then strain. I'm surprised this fiery spray has not eaten its way through the spray bottle. I have to wear gloves and safety glasses during application to the tops and undersides of vegetable leaves that are showing signs of insect damage. This is hot enough to stop even fire ants in their tracks.
